The Albino Threadfin Acara, also known as the Heckelii Cichlid or Threadfin Eartheater, is a South American cichlid fish with a red-orange body and red eyes. It's a color variant of the standard Threadfin Acara, and is characterized by its unique appearance due to a lack of melanins, the brown and black pigments that give other fish their color
Behavior: Generally peaceful, but can become territorial during breeding.
Tank mates: Can be kept in groups with other peaceful fish that are too large to be prey. Avoid dwarf shrimp and other small invertebrates, but snails may be suitable in a large enough aquarium
Tank setup: Provide a sandy substrate and lots of hiding places, such as driftwood, clay pots, and rock formations. Plants that attach to driftwood and rockwork are recommended.
Diet: Can eat pellets, flakes, live food, frozen food, and fatty earthworms.
Origin: Native to the Amazon Basin in Brazil, Colombia, and Peru.
Breeding: Females dig a breeding chamber in the bottom of the tank, and the male defends the entrances. Both parents care for the young after hatching.

We ship live fish orders Tuesday through Thursday to ensure safe delivery and minimal transit time.
Orders are shipped in the order they are placed.
Typical handling time is 2–4 business days (excluding weekends).

📦 Live Arrival Guarantee
To qualify for our Live Arrival Guarantee, the following conditions must be met:
- Proof Required:
A clear photo or video of the DOA (dead on arrival) fish inside the unopened original bag must be emailed to us within 2 hours of delivery. - Correct Address Only:
The package must be shipped to the exact address provided at checkout.
The guarantee is void if sent to a forwarding address. - First Delivery Attempt:
Someone must be present to receive the package on the first delivery attempt.
If not, the guarantee is void.

- Refunds are issued for the cost of the fish only.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
