Arizona, Arkansas, California, Georgia, Mississippi, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah prohibit private individuals from owning Potamotrygon species, and Colorado and Florida require a permit.
This species has a very wide natural range, taking in parts of Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina. It’s been recorded in the main Amazon basin and numerous smaller rivers including the Rio Orinoco, Rio Uruguay, Rio Paraná and Rio Paraguay.

All of our door-to-door orders are sent using Next Day Air. We ship two days a week. Monday and Tuesday or Tuesday and Wednesday if Monday is a Holiday. Most orders received will be shipped the following week.
