The Salvini Cichlid, also known as the Yellow Belly Cichlid, is a stunning freshwater fish native to the rivers and lakes of Central America. Known for its vibrant yellow body, bold black lateral markings, and striking red and blue highlights, the Salvini Cichlid adds a vivid splash of color to any aquarium.

Growing up to 8 inches, Salvini Cichlids are active and highly territorial, making them ideal for experienced hobbyists with larger aquariums. They thrive in warm, clean water with stable parameters and require plenty of space, rocks, caves, and hiding spots to establish territories. Due to their aggressive nature, tank mates should be chosen carefully, favoring other robust Central or South American cichlids of similar size.

Salvini Cichlids are primarily carnivorous, enjoying a varied diet of high-quality pellets, frozen or live foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and krill. Occasional vegetable matter can be offered for added variety.

  • Terms and Conditions for Live Fish:

    To qualify for our Live Arrival Guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

    1. Proof Required – A clear photo or video of the DOA (dead on arrival) fish inside the unopened original bag must be emailed within 2 hours of delivery.

    2. Correct Address Only – The package must be shipped to the correct address provided at checkout. The guarantee is void if sent to a forwarding address.

    3. First Delivery Attempt – Someone must be present to receive the package on the first delivery attempt. If not, the live arrival guarantee is void.

    🔁 Refunds are issued for the cost of the fish only. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
